What it is
An Inspection Position is the posture the sub holds while their Dom examines something specific, such as the sub’s body, grooming, outfit, posture, equipment, or completed work. The position gives the Dom the view or access they need. Unlike a general presentation, an inspection includes a standard the Dom is checking and a decision about whether it has been met.
Why it is submissive
The sub makes themselves or their work available for close attention and accepts that the Dom gives the final approval. They remain still, answer relevant questions, and accept correction or repositioning within the task. The Dom chooses what to inspect and decides whether anything needs to be changed or done again.
