Stillness Training

Remain completely still while your Dom touches, inspects, or teases you for the agreed period.

What it is

For the agreed period, the sub stops unnecessary movement while the Dom touches, inspects, positions, or teases them. The body does not need to become rigid; the goal is to remain deliberately available instead of flinching, fidgeting, reaching, or adjusting without permission. The pair chooses a stable starting posture and a clear release cue. Safety-related movement and communication remain allowed throughout.

Why it is submissive

Ordinary movement is temporarily placed under the Dom’s authority. Remaining still makes the Dom’s touch and observation feel more deliberate because the sub does not automatically retreat or participate. The Dom decides when a correction, touch, or release occurs.

Why people may like it

The challenge can feel intense even when the touch itself is gentle. Some subs enjoy being watched closely enough that every small reaction becomes visible, while others like the concentration required to suppress a reflexive movement. Stillness can also heighten anticipation because the sub cannot reach toward the Dom or reposition for what comes next. Doms may enjoy the clear visual obedience and the freedom to inspect or tease an available body.

Ways to run it

One-Minute Stillness
The sub remains still for one short timed round while the Dom observes.
Stillness During Inspection
The sub holds still while the Dom checks posture, clothing, grooming, or presentation.
Stillness Under Teasing Touch
The Dom uses light agreed touch while the sub resists unnecessary movement.
Eyes-Closed Stillness
The sub closes their eyes and remains still while relying on the Dom’s voice.
Several Short Rounds
Brief rounds with resets allow the sub to practice composure without one long hold.

How this task works

Stillness Training is a training from the sensory control & body control chart. This is an in-person task — it needs you and your Dom in the same room. It's a kink task — charged with power exchange, though not explicit.

Beginner-friendly: a good early assignment in a new dynamic. Standard care applies: negotiate first, agree on limits, and check in afterward.
