Task No. 158 of 282
Guess the Sensation
While blindfolded, identify the safe objects, textures, temperatures, or touches your Dom uses.
What it is
A Sensation Guessing Game removes sight and asks the sub to identify what the Dom is using. The stimuli may include textures, ordinary objects, sounds, scents, gentle temperature differences, or touches on different parts of the body. The Dom presents one item or sensation at a time and reveals the answer after the guess or at the end of the round. The game should use familiar, skin-safe materials rather than extreme heat, cold, sharp edges, or unknown substances.
Why it is submissive
The sub accepts not knowing what will touch them next and relies on the Dom to choose each stimulus responsibly. They give honest answers rather than controlling the sequence or reaching out to inspect the object. The Dom controls both the sensory information and the moment it is explained.
Why people may like it
Familiar objects can feel surprisingly strange when the sub cannot see them. Some enjoy the playful competition of guessing correctly, while others respond more strongly to the uncertainty before each touch. The game can also reveal which textures, sounds, or temperatures the sub notices most intensely. Doms may enjoy creating harmless surprises and watching the sub reason from sensation alone.
Ways to run it
- Texture Round
- The Dom uses several safe fabrics or surfaces for the sub to identify.
- Warm or Cool Round
- Comfortably warm and cool objects are compared without using extreme temperatures.
- Sound Guessing
- The blindfolded sub identifies ordinary sounds created nearby by the Dom.
- Scent Guessing
- Known non-irritating scents are presented one at a time for identification.
- Body-Location Guessing
- The sub names the body area receiving a light agreed touch.
How this task works
Guess the Sensation is a scene task from the sensory control & body control chart. This is an in-person task — it needs you and your Dom in the same room. It's a kink task — charged with power exchange, though not explicit.
Intermediate: best once you've built trust, protocol, and a track record together. Risk level is heightened — negotiate carefully, agree on stop signals, and plan aftercare before you start.
