What it is
Count Every Strike adds a verbal rule to an impact scene. The sub says the number after each strike, following whatever format the Dom has chosen—plain numbers, a title, thanks, backward counting, or grouped sets. The impact must be paced so the count can actually be heard, and the pair should agree in advance what happens after a missed or unclear number. Counting is part of the scene’s structure; it does not replace a safeword or prove that the sub is still safe.
Why it is submissive
The sub has to stay mentally connected to the Dom’s rhythm instead of disappearing completely into the sensation. Each number acknowledges the strike and confirms that the sub is still participating in the exchange. The Dom controls the pace and the counting rule, while the sub accepts correction without losing access to the separate stop system.
