What it is
A Mischief Log records deliberate bratty provocations and the response the sub was hoping to draw from the Dom. Each entry also notes what actually happened and whether the behavior remained fun for both people. The log is not a trophy list of rule violations; its purpose is to distinguish successful play from provocation that created confusion, annoyance, or real conflict. Reviewing the entries can reveal when bratting is masking another need.
Why it is submissive
The sub makes their provocative behavior transparent instead of insisting that the Dom should always know what it meant. They give the Dom information about the chase, firmness, attention, reassurance, or amusement they were seeking and accept feedback on whether the method was welcome. The Dom gains a clearer basis for shaping or limiting future brat play.
Why people may like it
