What it is

Give the Dom the current information needed to plan the proposed scene. This can include hard and soft limits, desired intensity, injuries, allergies, medications or medical devices that matter, emotional triggers, marks and privacy boundaries, verbal and nonverbal stop signals, and aftercare needs. The discussion updates earlier agreements rather than assuming they remain unchanged. Presenting limits makes the scene’s boundaries explicit; it does not transfer ownership of those boundaries to the Dom.

Why it is submissive

The sub makes real vulnerabilities and restrictions available instead of asking the Dom to guess or hiding them to appear easier to control. Within those stated limits, the Dom can plan and exercise authority with better information. Submission comes from honest exposure and negotiated surrender, not from silence or giving up the ability to stop.

Why people may like it

A formal limits presentation can feel exposing in a way that is different from physical nudity. Some subs value being fully known before entering a demanding scene, especially when naming fears or health concerns requires trust. Doms may appreciate receiving information that lets them act deliberately rather than cautiously guessing. Clear boundaries can also sharpen anticipation because both people understand where exploration is available and where it is not.

Ways to run it

Spoken Negotiation
The sub answers the Dom’s questions aloud and raises any changed limits or health concerns.
Written Limits Card
A concise document lists relevant boundaries, signals, health information, and aftercare needs for the scene.
Body-Map Review
Approved, conditional, and excluded body areas are identified on a diagram or discussed in detail.
Traffic-Light Discussion
Activities and intensity levels are rated green, yellow, or red before the scene begins.
Final Confirmation
The pair briefly confirms the plan, stop signals, and any last-minute changes immediately before play.

How this task works

Present Your Limits is a preparation from the scene preparation chart. It works in person or apart, so long-distance dynamics can run it too. It's a kink task — charged with power exchange, though not explicit.

Beginner-friendly: a good early assignment in a new dynamic. Standard care applies: negotiate first, agree on limits, and check in afterward.
