What it is
Present the Cuffs turns the beginning of restraint into a deliberate offering. The sub brings the agreed cuffs to the Dom, places or holds them as instructed, and presents their wrists so the Dom can apply the restraints. The gesture may be formal or simple, but the cuffs should still be fitted and checked like working restraint equipment rather than treated only as a symbol. This differs from merely asking to be tied because the sub physically brings forward the tool and the body part the Dom will control.
Why it is submissive
The sub does not wait passively for restraint to happen. They bring the means of restraint to the Dom and make their surrender visible by offering their wrists. The Dom decides how the cuffs are applied, where the hands are placed, and when the sub is released.
Why people may like it
The moment before the cuffs close can carry as much charge as the restraint itself. Some subs enjoy the vulnerability of placing their wrists forward and waiting for the Dom to accept the offering.
