What it is
Stay on Standby is a punishment where the submissive must remain reasonably available for the Dominant’s next instruction during a defined window. They might stay near their phone, remain in a ready position, or limit themselves to activities they can stop quickly. The Dom does not have to fill the period with commands. Unlike Stay in One Place, the central restriction is not location. It is the requirement that the sub keep their time and attention available rather than fully using it for themselves.
