What it is
Locked in a Cage is a confinement punishment rather than a limb restraint. The submissive is placed inside an agreed cage, kennel, or similar enclosure and cannot simply leave until the Dominant releases them. The available movement depends on the enclosure. The sub may still be able to sit, turn, kneel, or shift position. That distinguishes caging from mummification or chair bondage, where the body itself is immobilized.
