What it is

No Gaming temporarily removes video games from the submissive's leisure time. The restriction may cover console, computer, mobile, or handheld gaming depending on what was agreed. It can apply to every game or only the titles the sub values most. Unlike a general screen restriction, the devices themselves can still be used for other purposes. The punishment is specifically the loss of play.

What makes it punishing

Gaming can provide challenge, escape, routine, or social enjoyment. Removing it creates a noticeable hole in the part of the day the sub usually chooses for themselves. The loss becomes especially clear when they have free time and know exactly what they would like to play but cannot start it until the restriction is over.

Why Dominants Choose It

A gaming ban can carry real weight for a sub who invests substantial attention in games. That makes it more personal than assigning an arbitrary inconvenience. The Dom can remove one valued pleasure while leaving work and ordinary device use untouched. It also creates a consequence the sub repeatedly encounters on their own, rather than something the Dominant has to keep administering.

Ways to run it

All Gaming: Every recreational video game is unavailable for the full punishment period.
One-Game Ban: Only a favorite or currently absorbing game is placed off-limits.
Console Restriction: Gaming on one console or device is suspended while other leisure remains available.
Solo Games Only: Solo gaming is removed while previously agreed multiplayer commitments can remain exempt.
Until Tomorrow: Gaming is unavailable for the rest of the day and returns the following day.
