Task No. 48 of 282
Play the Employee
Take the subordinate employee role in a scene built around orders, performance, discipline, or inappropriate authority.
What it is
A fictional boss places the employee inside a workplace hierarchy built around orders, service, performance, probation, or promotion. The scene may involve office clothing, a desk, a review form, administrative work, a personal-assistant duty, or an after-hours meeting. The pair defines which job consequences are theatrical and keeps real income, employment, references, and professional reputation completely outside the role. The authority exists only for the negotiated scene.
Why it is submissive
The employee accepts the boss’s right to assign duties, judge the result, and control the character’s status inside the fictional workplace. Competence does not remove the hierarchy; even strong performance remains subject to the boss’s approval. The Dom decides whether the employee is promoted, kept on probation, corrected, or given another task.
Why people may like it
Workplace roleplay combines familiar professional behavior with authority that would be inappropriate in real life. Some employees enjoy trying to remain polished while the boss becomes increasingly personal, demanding, or intrusive. A performance review can create tension around praise, failure, and fictional job security without risking an actual career. Doms may enjoy turning ordinary competence and service into something explicitly subordinate.
Ways to run it
- Performance Review
- The boss evaluates the employee’s work, conduct, presentation, and approved areas for improvement.
- Personal Assistant
- The employee completes a set of private service or administrative duties for the boss.
- Probationary Employee
- The employee must meet a defined standard before the boss confirms their fictional position.
- After-Hours Meeting
- A private office scene begins after the fictional workday has ended.
- Promotion Interview
- The employee applies for greater status and submits to the boss’s questions and evaluation.
How this task works
Play the Employee is a scene task from the roleplay & persona chart. It works in person or apart, so long-distance dynamics can run it too. It's an explicit task, for adults in a negotiated sexual dynamic.
Intermediate: best once you've built trust, protocol, and a track record together. Standard care applies: negotiate first, agree on limits, and check in afterward.
