Use or respond to the negotiated degrading name throughout the scene or assigned period.
What it is
One negotiated degrading name replaces the sub’s ordinary name for a defined scene, ritual, conversation, or period. The pair agrees on the exact word, who may use it, whether the sub must answer to it, and when the ordinary name returns. A name that works in sexual play may not belong in daily life, messages, or public settings. The task is narrow on purpose: approval of one label does not create permission for every insult.
Why it is submissive
Naming usually belongs to the person being addressed, so surrendering that choice gives the Dom a direct form of authority over identity inside the scene. The sub acknowledges the lower-status or objectifying label whenever it is used and may have to correct themselves when they reach for their ordinary name. The Dom controls the temporary name and the moment the sub is released from it.
Why people may like it
A single word can create an immediate shift in headspace. Some subs enjoy the shock of hearing a forbidden label applied personally, while others respond to having their ordinary identity stripped down to one degrading role. Answering to the name can feel more exposing than simply hearing dirty talk because the sub has to participate in the redefinition. Doms may enjoy choosing a word that produces a precise reaction rather than using generic insults.
