What it is
One Daily Act of Service asks the sub to complete one useful act for their Dom each day. The act may be chosen by the sub, assigned by the Dom, or selected from an agreed list, and it can be practical, personal, or symbolic. What makes it service is that it is done for the Dom’s benefit or preference, not simply because the task was already part of the sub’s ordinary responsibilities.
Why it is submissive
The sub deliberately directs effort toward the Dom’s comfort, priorities, or pleasure. If the Dom assigns the act, the submission is expressed through obedience to that choice; if the sub chooses it, the submission appears through attentive initiative and the decision to make themselves useful. Reporting the act lets the Dom receive and acknowledge the service.
