What it is

Extra Service Shift assigns a bounded period of additional service after a breach. Instead of one isolated chore, the submissive spends a set block of time attending to the Dominant and completing a defined group of duties. The shift might involve household work, personal service, preparation, or waiting for instructions. It ends at the agreed time or when the defined service list is complete, rather than becoming open-ended availability.

What makes it punishing

The consequence is not one job but a block of time that no longer belongs to the sub. Leisure is replaced by service, and the submissive stays oriented toward the Dominant's needs for longer than usual. Even simple duties can gain weight when they arrive one after another and the sub cannot mentally clock out until the extra shift is over.

An extra shift lets the Dominant receive sustained attention rather than one quick act of service.
