What it is
Extra Chore adds one new duty to the submissive's normal responsibilities after a breach. The Dominant chooses a specific household, organizational, or practical task and sets the standard for completion. The chore is separate from work the sub already owed, which is what makes it an added consequence rather than ordinary service. It can be completed in person or remotely when the result can be checked afterward.
What makes it punishing
The sub loses time and takes on work they would not otherwise have had to do. A small breach can suddenly turn into dishes, laundry, an errand, or another obligation before leisure resumes. The extra duty makes the consequence tangible because the sub has to repay the mistake with effort rather than simply acknowledge it.
Why Dominants Choose It
Extra chores are useful when the Dominant wants a consequence that is simple, concrete, and easy to verify. The punishment can create a real benefit instead of producing effort for its own sake. The Dom also gets wide control over the weight of the consequence, from one minor job to a more involved duty that makes the sub give up a meaningful amount of free time.
